I am available for private instruction in acoustic & electric bass, piano and guitar. Lessons range in length from 30 minutes to one hour, and may be held at a student’s home, my private studio, or another location of a student’s choosing. I have ten years of experience teaching all of the above instruments, as well as rock and jazz ensembles. Past students have ranged in age from 6 to adult, and I welcome students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience. Lessons generally cover basic instrumental technique, and learning repertoire that is fun and appropriate to the individual student. Fundamentals such as sight reading, music theory, and ear training are also integrated into private lessons as needed and/or desired by the student. For non-New York City residents, long-distance lessons can also be arranged via Skype.
